Validity
Full Payment is required to make a reservation or purchase a Gift Voucher or Flight Ticket.
Flight Tickets or Gift Vouchers are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Initial contact must be made within 3 months of purchase to
book a flight date. Tickets will not be extended beyond the one year expiry date, unless at least 8 or more attempts have been made to fly. H.O.T Air Balloons Ltd. reserves the right to change the price of balloon flights without notice.
Liability & Refunds
We regret that we can only give refunds due to medical reasons, for which we will require a doctor’s certificate, and then a 50% cancellation fee will be deducted. However, tickets & gift vouchers may be transferred at our discretion. Passengers should ensure that they are in good health, & if in doubt, should seek medical advice.
Passengers wishing to cancel their flight must give 48 hours notice in writing or their ticket will be rendered invalid. Failure to report to
the launch site or to call in for final flight information, as requested, will render ticket invalid.
Ballooning requires almost perfect weather conditions, so flights may be cancelled at short notice, even on the launch site. In the event of a flight being cancelled due to adverse weather conditions or any other unforeseeable circumstance, which could jeopardize passenger safety, the flight voucher will remain valid. Passengers must then re-book for a
mutually convenient date.

H.O.T Air Balloons Ltd. accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal items however caused. We will not be liable for any loss or expenses incurred as a result of a cancellation. Passengers wishing to take cameras and other equipment on the flight do so entirely at their own risk.
The Flight
The Pilot in command shall have the final authority over the duration and conduct of the flight. No refunds will be made for flights of less
than one hour in duration. For safety sake passengers must note and comply with all the instructions given by the pilot & crew during and after flight. H.O.T. Air Balloons Ltd. reserve the right to alter the location of the launch. The pilot or the company may refuse to fly any person who they suspect to have consumed alcohol or drugs and could therefore compromise the safety of themselves fellow passengers and crew. On booking to fly with H.O.T. Air Balloons Ltd. passengers are deemed to have read and be aware of the company’s terms & conditions and to have
agreed to abide by them. |
